2026 Oak Harbor Community Interest and Opinion Survey
Would you like to see a Recreation Center in Oak Harbor?
The Oak Harbor Parks & Recreation Department and ETC Institute are conducting a survey to better understand the community's recreation priorities, and if a recreation center in Oak Harbor is feasible. We value your feedback, so along with conducting this survey, we will also host workshops and engagement opportunities over the next few weeks. It’s important to gather as much feedback and insight as possible from the community!
We are requesting your participation in the 2026 Community Interest and Opinion Statistically Valid Survey. If a recreation center is feasible in the future, we want to make sure to advocate for the programs and facilities that matter to YOU and YOUR neighbors. Your responses will remain confidential. The survey should only take 10-15 minutes to complete.
If you have any questions, please contact ETC Institute’s project manager Ryan Murray at 913-254-4598 or at ryan.murray@etcinstitute.com.
To say thank you, at the end of the survey you will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win one (1) $500 prepaid Visa gift card for fully completing your survey.
Don’t miss this opportunity to have your voice heard and help us meet the recreation needs of Oak Harbor.
What Happens Next?
The team will gather survey data and present the results to the Oak Harbor City Council. The feasibility study will help inform future discussions about a potential recreation center, but the results are only one part of a broader decision-making process that includes financial, operational, and logistical factors.
